Single Car Collision Kills One, Injures Another
A single vehicle collision in Newberry County on Saturday, May 4, killed one and injured another.
According to Lance Corporal Brittany Glover of the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident happened just before 1:30 pm on Saturday on Jalapa Road at Beth Eden Road (approximately seven miles from Whitmire).
Two occupants in a 2004 Toyota Tundra were traveling east on Jalapa Road when they traveled off the left side of the road, struck a ditch and then struck a tree.
