Unofficial results from Tuesday’s Primary Election:

In the US Senate Race, incumbent Lindsey Graham earned the Republican nomination. He will face Democrat Jaime Harrison in November.

In the Democratic race for the SC House of Representatives District 5, Moe Brown will face Republican Ralph Norman in November. Brown took 66% of the votes against Sidney Moore.

In the State Senate District 18 race, Ronnie Cromer took 65% of the votes versus his opponent, Charles Bumgardner.

Local Newberry County races:

In the District 1 race for Newberry County Council, Todd Johnson won over Scott Cain, with 74% of the votes.

In District 2, Mary Arrowood with 32% of the votes, Tammy Johns with 31%, Steve Stockman with 24%, and Lee Attaway with 13% of the votes.

And Robert Nick Shealy declared the winner for District 4 Newberry County Council with 51% of the votes vs. the 49% of the votes for Brian Hawkins.  Shealy will face incumbent Kirksey Koon in November.
