A Little Mountain woman has been arrested by the Lexington County Sheriff’s Office, as she is accused of shooting at two men as they were driving on a road.
Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon stated, “Based on the information detectives have gathered, Bowers fired shots the night of May 28 from a car that was following a car with the two shooting victims inside.” He further said, “They were riding on Lazy Brook Drive in Little Mountain.”
Breasia Bowers, 21, was arrested on Thursday and she was charged with two counts of attempted murder, discharging a firearm into a vehicle and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Bowers is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center.
Sheriff’s deputies said that the two men were not injured by the gunfire, although their car was hit by the shots.
Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said that this incident may have stemmed from a disagreement among extended family members.
