Newberry County Coroner Laura Kneece has identified Debbie Winchester, 59, of Newberry, as the driver in the Wednesday morning collision that occurred on SC Highway 121 near SC Highway 34.

Mrs. Winchester was transported to Prisma Health Richland where she succumbed to her injuries.

The Newberry County Coroner’s Office and the S.C. Highway Patrol are still actively investigating this wreck.
