Special Called City Council Meeting On Thursday
Newberry City Council has a special called meeting on Thursday, April 27, at 5:00 pm at Council Chambers in City Hall.
Discussion of forms of government for the City of Newberry will take place during the meeting.
Included in the discussion will be the background and history of Newberry and Council-Manager (City Manager) form of government.
A question to be answered at the meeting is: “Should Newberry consider a Council form of government, which will result in Utilities being led by a General Manager and the General side led by a City Administrator?”
City Attorney Robert Lake is planning to lead the potential process discussion.
