Single Vehicle Collision Results In Fatality
UPDATE: Newberry County Coroner Laura Kneece has identified the individual as Mr. David R. Nassef, 60, of Columbia. The Newberry County Coroner’s Office along with South Carolina Highway Patrol will continue to investigate the incident.
As we have been reporting, the South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a single vehicle collision resulting in a fatality.
SC Highway Patrol Master Trooper Brandon Bolt tells WKDK that the accident occurred on Ira Kinard Road just before 8 am on Monday morning.
The driver of a 2000 Toyota minivan was traveling west on Ira Kinard Road, about four miles south of Prosperity, when that driver traveled off the right side of the road, then the left side, striking trees.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating this collision.
