Newberry Man Killed In Parking Area Near Trail In Laurens County
A man is dead and another has been charged with his murder after a shooting on Wednesday morning in the parking area near a trail in Laurens County.
The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office says that Kevonte Cunningham, 17, of Cross Hill, shot and killed Brandon Xavier Gadsden, 40, of Newberry.
Authorities say that the shooting happened about 6:30 am Wednesday in the parking area of Millers Fork Trail off West Corporate Drive.
Cunningham was arrested on Wednesday evening and charged with Gadsden’s murder.
