Shortly after 8 am on Monday morning, the SC Highway Patrol investigated a single vehicle fatal collision that occurred on Phillip Church Road near Tiester Road in Newberry County.

The drive was operating a 2015 Dodge four-door sedan and was apparently not wearing the seatbelt.

The single-car accident resulted in a fatality.
