NCMH Issues Precautions During Heavy Illness Season
Hospitals across South Carolina, including Newberry Hospital, are currently seeing a heavy volume of flu, Covid and RSV.
To ensure the safety of our patients, visitors and staff, Newberry Hospital is asking for our community’s assistance with the following:
You are highly encouraged to wear masks. This is for all visitors and staff. Masks will be available when entering Newberry Hospital
Please control the number of people visiting
Visitors may be asked to wear a mask based on the patient’s diagnosis
Newberry Hospital discourages visitors under the age of 16
The hope, of course, is to diminish the spread of these illnesses and keep everyone safe. Newberry Hospital wishes everyone a safe and healthy New Year!
