The Mid-Carolina Girls Cross Country team competed at the SCHSL State Championship on November 19 at the Colonial Cup Course in Camden.

The girls all had outstanding performances and placed 12th in the AAA division.

The team was led by Cameron Wicker, 19:28 PR, who placed 3rd overall and made the All-State team. She was followed by Caroline Matney, 21:33; Claire Hawkins, 22:45; Haley Thomason, 23:47; Sara Black, 23:53; Mia Russo, 24:23; and Maddie Huffstetler, 24:31.
