Lee Foster And Deputies To Take Constitutional Oath Of Office

Newberry County Sheriff Lee Foster and Deputies will take the Constitutional Oath of Office later today (Tuesday), January 7.

The ceremony will begin at 4 pm this afternoon in the Drill Hall at the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office at 550 Wilson Road.

Having been first elected in 1989, this will be Sheriff Foster’s tenth consecutive four-year term. He is currently the longest-serving Sheriff in South Carolina, and is the current South Carolina Sheriff of the Year.
