Georgia-Pacific announced on Friday that they are modifying their lumber operations at two lumber facilities, on in Camden, Texas, and the other in Prosperity.

The company reported that they have experienced historically challenging market conditions, resulting in this decision.

Over the next couple of months, these sites will be discontinuing lumber production from logs but maintaining plywood core sawing operations.

Apparently the modification will not have any impact on the plywood facilities located in these areas.
