We reported yesterday (Wednesday) on WKDK that the Prosperity Police Department was in search of the owner of the sport utility vehicle that had been carrying a juvenile who had been heard screaming out off the vehicle on Tuesday afternoon in Prosperity.

Later in the day on Wednesday the juvenile contacted the Prosperity Police Department to advise that he was ok. Authorities confirmed that this was accurate information.

On Tuesday afternoon, complaints were received indicating that a young boy was screaming for help out of the window of the SUV. The vehicle was traveling westbound on US Hwy 76 in Prosperity (near the Dollar General) at the time.
