CSX Transportation has announced that they will be performing an emergency railroad track repair on Kendall Road in Newberry. A wide gauge has been identified in this area, and this will require a total closure of the roadway.

This area of Kendall Road is scheduled to be closed Tuesday, August 22, at 8 am, and is set to reopen by 4 pm later in the day.

This is a total closure meaning no traffic will be allowed across the track until the work is complete.
