The city’s police, fire and parks and recreation departments along with the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office and Newberry County Literacy Council visited with citizens on Saturday, July 27 during a Community Crime Watch Event held in Willowbrook Park, hosted by the West End Crime Watch Team. Residents were able to hear about fire, police and bicycle safety along with checking out some of the fun games provided by the city’s RecMobile.
