Columbia Man Sought For Early Morning Homicide
On Saturday, March 14, officers with the Newberry Police Department responded to a stabbing call in the Bethlehem Gardens Apartment Complex on Vincent Street, in the City of Newberry around 1:14 a.m.
Once on scene, officers found a female victim with an apparent stab wound to the upper body. The victim was transported by Newberry County EMS but later succumbed to her injuries.
Police are currently looking for 25-year-old Demars Unique Tyreke Randolph Jr. of Columbia, SC for his connection to this homicide. This is an ongoing investigation.Newberry Police asking anyone with information in this homicide or the whereabouts of Randolph, to call Midlands Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or the Newberry Police Department at 803-321-1010.
Randolph should be considered armed and dangerous. If spotted, contact law enforcement immediately. Do not approach this individual.
