Newberry Health Earns Four Women’s Choice Awards
Newberry Health has been recognized as one of the nation’s best hospitals in four categories ranked by the Women’s Choice Award®, a nationally known referral source for top-rated healthcare. Newberry Health earned honors for emergency care, emergency wait times and efficiency, patient safety, and outpatient experience.
To qualify, hospitals must meet or exceed a robust set of national benchmarks including clinical performance measures, patient satisfaction scores, and appropriate accreditations. Those assessments showed that out of 4,655 hospitals included in the 2026 ratings, Newberry Health ranked in the:
• Top 4 percent for quality of the outpatient experience;
• Top 7 percent for timely and effective emergency care;
• Top 9 percent for emergency wait times and efficiency, and
• Top 13 percent for patient safety.
