Coroner Identifies Victim In Recent Car Crash
Newberry County Coroner Laura Kneece has identified Christopher Walker, 22, of Cross Hill as the victim who died in a single car motor vehicle collision recently.
The collision occurred on June 29 on Highway 56 near Davenport Road in the Chappells area of Newberry County.
An autopsy has been requested and was performed this week.
This incident remains under investigation through Newberry County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol.
