The  Newberry County Recycling Centers and the Transfer Station will be open again today and also tomorrow, Saturday, October 5.

Newberry County Transfer Station:

The transfer station will operate from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., including the scale house.

Newberry County Recycling Centers:

All recycling centers will operate from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. If the site has power, it will be accepting any items/materials that they normally do. If the site does not have power at that time, they will only accept household garbage, spoiled food, etc.

Facilities without power will have signs saying so.

Newberry County Mulch Facility:

The mulch facility will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. They will only be accepting vegetative debris and not providing any mulch.

Any contractors will need to be weighed at the scale and receive a ticket before being allowed to dump their materials.
