Lynch’s Woods Park Closed Due To Significant Storm Damage
Lynch’s Woods Park will be closed for the foreseeable future, due to the damage caused by Hurricane Helene.
At present, there is a lot of damage within the park. This includes the destruction of the picnic shelter and an estimate of 200 trees are down.
“Simply put, Lynch’s Woods Park is not safe, no one should be inside the park outside of authorized personnel. We cannot stress this enough, please do not attempt to enter Lynch’s Wood Park,” said Jessie Long, direct of Newberry County Parks and Recreation.
Closing the park is for the safety of everyone!
