UPDATE: Fatal Shooting At Laurens County Courthouse

A man has been arrested and charged after authorities said he ran his vehicle into another man and then shot him outside the Laurens County courthouse in South Carolina.
On Monday at approximately 3:15 p.m., deputies responded to shots being fired in the parking lot of the Laurens County Courthouse at Hillcrest Square.
Laurens County authorities said it was determined that after a court hearing, individuals involved in the hearing left the courthouse, at which time the suspect ran his vehicle into the victim and then proceeded to shoot him.
The suspect was immediately taken into custody, and the victim began receiving treatment before being flown to the hospital.
The victim died and has been identified as 34-year-old Erin Lee Thomas of Woodruff.
The suspect is 32-year-old Stephen Andrew White, of Laurens, who is being held at the Laurens County detention center awaiting charges including murder.
