As we have been reporting since Monday afternoon, the South Carolina Department of Transportation is closing the Jalapa Road I-26 crossover bridge due to a strike.

The bridge will be closed until inspections can be conducted and any repairs made.

Do not drive around barricades as this may cause further damages and injuries.
