Coroner Identifies Boating Collision Victim
Newberry County Coroner Laura Kneece has identified Johnathan Brian, 21, of Shelbyville, Kentucky as one of the occupants of a boating collision that occurred in the Prosperity area of Newberry County at approximately 1:04 P.M. on January 25, 2024.
According to Coroner Kneece, Mr. Brian was pronounced at Prisma Health Richland this morning.
The Newberry County Coroner’s Office along with South Carolina Department of Natural Resources will continue to investigate the incident.
