Tuesday Morning Accident Claims Life Of Newberry Man
The Newberry County Coroner’s Office along with the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating a single vehicle collision that occurred in the early morning hours on July 6, 2021. The call was received by 911 Communications at approximately 12:20 am. The collision occurred on Mudlick Road in Newberry County.
Coroner Laura Kneece has identified William Cook, 42, of Newberry as the decedent in the collision. An autopsy has been scheduled for this week.
This incident remains under investigation of the Newberry County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol.
