Three-Vehicle Collision Claims Life Of One Person
As we reported on Thursday afternoon, a three-vehicle collision claimed the life of one individual on Wednesday evening.
The collision happened on US Highway 76, about one mile west of Wessinger Road in Prosperity, shortly after 7 pm on Wednesday.
A pickup truck traveling west on Highway 76 struck a 2008 Prius that was traveling east head-on, killing the driver of the Prius at the scene.
A third vehicle crashed from the result of the collision, with five passengers.
The driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital for possible injuries, but there were no other injuries reported from the collision.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
