As we reported yesterday (Thursday), a pedestrian was struck on Wednesday evening on I-26 near mile marker 66. This resulted in a fatality.

Shortly after 10 pm on Wednesday night, a pedestrian walking eastbound on I-26 was struck by a Chevrolet pickup, also traveling eastbound.

This is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
