Newberry College will announce a new partnership with the South Carolina National Guard with a “Battle-Ready Hand-Off” event.

The event will include a keynote address by Maj. Gen. Jeffery Jones, deputy adjutant general of South Carolina, and a special presentation to mark the relationship.

The partnership will include a scholarship and new on-campus resources for students who are members of the South Carolina Army National Guard.
