NCMH CEO To Resign In March 2022

Newberry, South Carolina (September 28, 2021) – Dr. Alan Paysinger, Chairman of the Newberry County Memorial Hospital Governing Board, announced today that the Governing Board had received the Retirement Resignation from Newberry County Memorial Hospital Chief Executive officer (CEO), Bruce Baldwin effective March 31, 2022.

 

Dr. Paysinger stated, “Almost seven (7) years ago, Bruce assumed the position of CEO at Newberry Hospital. At the time, Bruce had approximately 40 years of Healthcare Executive Management experience and committed to three (3) to five (5) years in the role before he ended his career. The Governing Board and I want to thank Bruce for his hard work and the successes we have experienced under his leadership.”

 

Dr. Paysinger added, “With the adequate notice given before Bruce’s retirement, the Governing Board has time to begin the process to find the next CEO of Newberry County Memorial Hospital.”
