Coroner Identifies Four Teenage Shooting Victims
The Newberry County Coroner’s Office, along with Newberry Police Department, are continuing to investigate shooting incidents that occurred in the Wise Street and Eleanor Street area of Newberry on Sunday, May 22. The first call was received by 911 Communications just after midnight and another one at 2:50 pm.
As we have been reporting since the press conference on Monday afternoon, Coroner Laura Kneece has identified the following young men in these incidents:
- Mykain Davis, 16 years of age
- Jahquindon Toland, 18 years of age
- Jhisere Robinson, 15 years of age
- Sonterrious Davis, 19 years of age
All young men lived in the Newberry area, and autopsies been scheduled for this week.
These incidents remain under investigation of the Newberry County Coroner’s Office and Newberry Police Department.
