As of 10/13/23: It is believed this suspect received a ride from an acquaintance and got outside the perimeter. Authorities continue to look for him and he is still wanted.

Last week deputies were in the area of Gravel Road of Ira Kinard Road searching for James Robert Peterson, the suspect wanted for an attempted night-time burglary in the Stoney Hill Section.

Peterson is a white male who was last seen wearing blue jeans and a light colored t-shirt. Anyone seeing a person matching that description or knowing his whereabouts should call
